Ecoforest and Google Home / Google Assistant

I wanted to turn my Ecoforest stove on and off by using voice commands.
Reason being that people close to me have severe vision impairment and struggle with simple tasks like using the mobile application or even the stove built in controls/screen. Also, its pretty cool!!!

Couldn't find anything that would allow me to do that, so i wrote a little custom Google Action that does it.
I've made the code public so that anyone that may have the same issue I did, can take advantage of it.

This integration for Ecoforest with Google Home allows issuing voice commands to your Google Assistant on your smartphone or smartspeaker (i use a Nest Mini myself). For the time being, you can only turn the stove on and off. Changing the Power or Temperature is not currently supported.

As a bonus, you will also be able to manage your Ecoforest stove from within the Google Home app you may already use for other smart home devices.
That means you can also create instant "Schedules" (ie.: turn off the Fireplace in 30m) and "Routines" (ie.: turn on the fireplace every weekday at 17h00) for your Ecoforest stove.

Buenas Alberto, yo con el IR de Broadlink y por mediación de Google Home puedo encender, apagar, subir y bajar temperatura, Crear rutinas etc...

Como añadido le he instalado un termostato wifi externo que te informa de la temperatura de la estancia además de regular la temperatura automáticamente, aunque debo tener algo mal en la configuración y que tengo que revisar que aun no modula.

Quizás sea la solución a lo que buscas ;-)

Mi estufa tiene receptor IR y mando a distancia, supongo que la tuya también, si no es el caso dudo que haya un receptor externo que pueda configurarse.... No sé si es la respuesta que esperas...

no tiene receptor IR ni control remoto.

lo que tiene es conexión wifi y se puede controlar con el smartphone.
con la integración que mencioné en el post inicial, ahora también se puede controlar por voz con el Asistente de Google.
ha funcionado bien

Ahh ok ok. pensé que te referías a algún modelo sin wifi.... Entonces no he dicho nada.

Seguro que a algun usuario le viene bien tu método ;-)
